IOTA Ambassador Program Levels Up: Earn $IOTA with GiveRep’s New Automated Rewards
The IOTA Foundation has transitioned its Ambassador Program from Discord-based coordination to GiveRep, a SocialFi platform on the SUI blockchain that converts social engagement into on-chain reputation points (REP) with automated tracking. The program rewards creators, builders, and community members involved in promoting IOTA. Additionally, IOTA has been acknowledged for innovations including secure digital identities for international trade and contributing to tokenization discussions with initiatives like fractional real estate ownership and stablecoins. Transition of the IOTA Ambassador Program
The IOTA Foundation has announced that its Ambassador Program is transitioning from Discord-based coordination to a SocialFi platform called GiveRep. This migration introduces perks like extra reputation points and an influencer badge for those staking with the GiveRep validator, providing deeper engagement for participants.
Purpose of the IOTA Ambassador Program
The IOTA Ambassador Program is an initiative to reward and connect creators, builders, and community members who contribute to IOTA’s ecosystem. Activities that amplify IOTA’s network include social media posts, event hosting, content creation, and general awareness efforts.
Migration to the GiveRep Platform
The program's migration to GiveRep, built on the SUI blockchain, is aiming to transform SocialFi by converting social-media engagement, especially on X, into measurable on-chain reputation points called REP. This change includes automated and transparent tracking with real-time dashboards to enhance user involvement and accountability.
IOTA and Digital Trade Innovation
IOTA is also contributing to international trade through TWIN and digital identities. TWIN is built on the IOTA distributed ledger and introduces secure, verifiable identities to modernize and streamline global trade operations. The Trade Logistics Information Pipeline (TLIP) further enables seamless connections among all stakeholders in international commerce.
IOTA’s Role in Global Tokenization
The International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) published a report highlighting progress in fractional real estate ownership, stablecoins, and innovative taxation methods like the Tokenized Micro Flat Tax (TMFT). Contributors from the IOTA Foundation, Giannis Rousopoulos and Tom Jansson, co-authored the report, showcasing IOTA’s involvement in advancing blockchain discussions.
Recognition by the OECD
The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has acknowledged IOTA’s leadership in digital trade innovation. In the September report titled 'The Digitalization of Trade Documents and Processes', IOTA was recognized as a key private-sector contributor to the transition toward paperless, automated trade, highlighting the foundation's significant role in shaping the future of global trade.
